The problem
Smart home hardware is bought on how it will look in a room, not on a specification sheet. The catalogue runs from lighting to solar security, which is wide enough that a grid of thumbnails tells a customer nothing. It needed category merchandising strong enough to carry a photograph at full width, and it needed to answer the first question a Nigerian shopper asks about anything bought online, which is whether it will actually arrive.
What it does
Rooms before products
Floor lamps, table lamps, downlights and security are each led by a photograph of the thing installed, not cut out on white.
Delivery answered first
Nationwide delivery across all 36 states sits in the top bar on every page, above the fold, before anyone has to ask.
A rotating hero
Three slots at the top for whatever is new, so the homepage can change without anyone touching the layout.
Honest stock counts
Each category carries the number of products actually in it. A category showing zero says so rather than leading to an empty page.
Built to be added to
Categories and best sellers are driven from the catalogue, so the shop grows by adding products rather than by rebuilding pages.
