AgroHive

Agritech talent platform, Africa

The problem

Agri-food businesses across Africa are started daily and close just as fast, and the founder’s own research put a large share of that down to the workforce: no reliable supply of trained agricultural staff, no way to verify what a candidate had actually been taught, and no system for managing the people once hired. AgroHive already had the training programme and the network. What it did not have was a front door. The brief was to build one that serves both sides at once, without making either audience read past the other to find what they came for.

What it does

Two-sided front door
The first thing on the page is a choice: Talent or Organization. Every word after it, and every button, belongs to the side the visitor picked.
AgroHive Board
The jobs board where organizations post roles and talents apply, built to handle full-time, part-time and seasonal hiring rather than only permanent posts.
Training and courses
The training sits inside the platform, so a business hiring from the pool can see exactly what the candidate was taught and certified in.
Partner and stakeholder track
A separate route for institutions and partners, with photographs from the last conference on the same page, so collaboration reads as something already happening.
Proof in the community
Named members in Nigeria, Liberia and Uganda, each saying what actually happened: a training finished, a role found. No unattributed praise.
News, FAQ and subscribe
An agricultural news feed, an FAQ that answers the five questions both sides actually ask, and one subscribe field that keeps people reachable between hiring cycles.
